On September 3, 2014, the "2014 LED Lighting Era Breakthrough and Innovation Summit Forum" co-sponsored by the China LED Champions Alliance and China International Optoelectronics Expo was grandly held in the Jasmine Hall on the sixth floor of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Lighting company executives, chief technical engineers, industry experts, scholars, purchasers, designers, media friends and other industry guests from all over the country participated in the industry event. In the afternoon session, the two major topics of "Breakthroughs and Innovations in LED Lighting Technology and Applications" and "Applications and Innovations of LED Commercial Lighting in Design Space" were focused on different industry groups.
The first session of the forum was hosted by Zhou Xuejun, Marketing Director of Philips Lumileds Asia. Tang Guoqing, the Semiconductor Lighting Technology and Application Professional Committee of China Illuminating Society, delivered a speech on behalf of the industry association and delivered a keynote speech titled "The Main Theme, Variations and Innovation Song of Lighting in the New Era". Subsequently, Pei Xiaoming, CTO of Shenzhen Ruifeng Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., Guan Xudong, President/CEO of Guangzhou Audi General Lighting Co., Ltd., and Wen Kongliang, Engineering Director of Shenzhen Super Frequency Three Technology Co., Ltd. respectively delivered keynote speeches on the relationship between the evolution of packaging technology and LED lighting, the provision of centralized power supply intelligent control for LED lighting, and breakthrough innovations in LED heat dissipation.
The second session of the forum was hosted by Yan Chongguang, a professor at the Shanghai Institute of Microelectronics of Peking University. Shenzhen Huachuangli Lighting, Shengda Optoelectronics, Hunan Aihua Group, and Dark Energy Power Company, which are representative companies in LED lighting subdivisions and LED lighting components, respectively explained their respective advantageous positions in their areas of expertise, attracting strong attention from the guests present. Then, Dark Energy Company united dozens of domestic and foreign companies, covering the upper, middle and lower reaches of the LED lighting industry chain, to establish an LED lighting strategic alliance with advantages in technology, R&D, production, manufacturing, marketing, etc. The leaders of the LED lighting strategic alliance also collectively appeared at the forum. The speakers in the afternoon session of the forum mainly gave speeches on the application and innovation of LED commercial lighting in commercial space design, how LED lighting companies innovate in business models, and how LED lighting can meet diversified light needs to a greater extent. Shi Jie, Chairman of Jiangsu Shift Optoelectronics, and Zhang Nan, Deputy General Manager of Shenzhen Shengda Optoelectronics, served as the hosts of the afternoon session respectively. Chairman Shi Jie first delivered a speech, combining the impact of the current mobile Internet on traditional industries from the perspective of macro-industry development and advancement, and deeply analyzed the traditional lighting era and Different models of enterprise development in the LED lighting era, and interpret the bottlenecks and limitations faced by the current development of lighting enterprises from the perspectives of technology, products, aesthetics, and business models, and point out that only integrating superior resources and jointly building brands is the way out for the development of many LED lighting enterprises today.
Then the design director of a well-known design company in Shenzhen conducted a case analysis on how commercial space and space aesthetics can create a better commercial space environment based on the characteristics of LED lighting.
Yong Xingchun, chairman of Shenzhen Yaorong Technology, Pang Guiwei, chairman of Tongpu Technology, Cui Haichao, general manager of Hubei Asia-Africa Energy Saving Company, Chen Guodong, deputy general manager of Dongguan Qinshang Optoelectronics, Zhou Xuejun, marketing director of Philips Lumileds Asia, and other well-known companies respectively presented LED lighting subdivisions, intelligent control systems, business models and other aspects through PPT presentations with pictures and vivid interpretations of breakthroughs and innovations in the LED lighting era, catering to the purpose of the forum.
The final part of the forum is the signing ceremony between China LED Champions Alliance and Portcullis Electrical Consortium Group (EC). Witnessed by many industry professionals at the scene, the China LED Champions Alliance and Portcullis Electric Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The China LED Champions Alliance will integrate domestic advantageous LED companies and products and join forces with Portcullis Electric Group to jointly create a market in Europe. The forum came to a successful conclusion with the signing of the agreement between the two parties, and the one-day forum came to an end.
