Huayinxin launches small-size white light MiniLED flexible backlight VR display module

According to official news from Huayinxin, the company recently launched a white light MiniLED flexible backlight VR display module. According to reports, the module has the advantages of being lightweight, ultra-thin, low power consumption, high brightness, and integrated lamp driver, and has mass production capabilities.

Huayinxin introduced that the Mini LED backlight display light source adopts the "ACSP On Board" technology route and exclusively self-developed ACSP white light Mini LED backlight technology solution, which can achieve ultra-thin display body, automotive grade reliability, integrated light control, and million-level ultra-high contrast.

Huayinxin uses ACSP chip-scale packaging light sources in VR products. It is innovatively optimized based on traditional packaging technology and embedded with extended pad technology. The size of the package can be 1.1-1.2 times that of the chip. It is equipped with "C2O-X——ACSP On Board" technology line integrates light and control on the same light source board to achieve integrated lamp driver, saving costs while being thinner and more power-saving. Product reliability and service life are greatly improved. Through strict control of the IATF16949 quality system, the product can reach "automotive grade" standards.

Based on the independent innovation of traditional COB and POB solutions, Huayinxin adopts the ACSP white light MiniLED technology solution. Compared with the conventional blue light chip + QD film solution on the market, it saves the cost of QD film materials and facilitates the control of the consistency of the screen display effect; at the same time, it uses flip-chip white light MiniLED to directly achieve uniform light mixing without the need for a lensCarry out secondary optical design to meet the requirements of high brightness and low power consumption for VR backlight products.

In addition, Huayinxin uses MiniLED’s more flexible process route and uses flexible substrates to achieve highly curved backlights, local dimming to meet better color rendering, and fine HDR partitioning. The thickness is comparable to OLED and more energy-saving.

Huayinxin said that with the continuous improvement and upgrading of its technical route, the company's ACSP white light MiniLED backlight technology solution not only covers medium and large-sized applications such as tablets, laptops, TVs, commercial displays, and vehicles, but also successfully unlocked small-sized AR/VR applications.

At present, the color gamut (NTSC) of Huayinxin Mini LED backlight products is greater than 95%, and the process yield reaches 99.999%. It has blossomed in various fields of automotive, TV, MNT, PAD, and VR applications, achieving batch delivery.
