According to the data, ClassOne is a supplier of advanced electroplating and wet processing equipment. The company's products are mainly used in the key wafer manufacturing process of compound semiconductor devices, and the main markets include photonics, power supply, 5G, Micro led and MEMS. ClassOne Technology's flagship Solstice platform is used in a wide range of fabs and research facilities.
In the field of Micro LEDs, ClassOne's Solstice platform, with its high plating rate and throughput, can help customers greatly improve the production yield and device performance of their Micro LED displays. Previously, ClassOne has supplied equipment to several Micro led companies.
In 2022, ClassOne supplied the Solstice S4 single wafer plating system to Micro led startup Raxium for the development and manufacture of Micro led miniature displays.
In 2023, ClassOne received a follow-up order from a well-known Micro led manufacturer to provide customers with the Solstice S8 single wafer plating system for mass production of Micro LEDs at their production sites in Asia.
For the cooperation with ClassOne, Porotech said that ClassOne's Solstice electroplating technology provides a reliable and efficient basis for the development of key process steps that will support the company to increase the output of Micro led by utilizing larger-sized silicon wafers.
Notably, Porotech is joining forces with multiple μLEDoS supply chain partners to address the challenges of mass production of Micro LEDs.
Previously, Porotech has partnered with world-renowned foundry Foxconn, semiconductor manufacturer PSMC and optical touch integration company GIS to form the new semiconductor Micro LED ecological chain. Porotech accelerates the commercialization of Micro LED microdisplay technology by integrating wafer manufacturing, hybrid bonding, IC design, packaging and assembly solutions.
Currently, Porotech is demonstrating its latest achievements in Micro LED commercialization at the SID 2024 exhibition in the United States, including: micro displays, AR glasses, micro projectors, light engine modules, HUD, HMD and other applications, as well as high-efficiency PoroGaN materials and back-end processing applications, which can meet different research and development needs from the front end to the end.
