Rayleigh Light said that this advancement in Micro LED technology is expected to double or more than double the pixel density of current flat display devices. Display devices have the characteristics of high contrast, high brightness, wide color gamut, high efficiency, low power consumption, and long life, and are suitable for a wide range of applications in entertainment, consumer electronics, and professional industries.

Information shows that Ruiliguang was founded in 2023 and is a start-up company in Hong Kong, China. The company's team members have an average of about 15 years of work experience in the materials and circuit fields. Rayleigh Light has more than 300 patents and has applied for 15 proprietary patents.

Currently, Rayleigh Light has experimental centers in California, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and the team has launched a variety of Micro LED products, including 0.55-inch full-color Micro LED microdisplays and 0.38-inch monochrome Micro LED microdisplays, with a pixel density of 3780PPI. In addition, Rayleigh Light has also successfully developed 2.5 micron Micro LED pixels and constructed a pixel array with a pixel density exceeding 10,000PPI.

Dr. He emphasized that although stacked Micro LED technology has great development potential, the technology faces some challenges, including precise alignment, maintenance difficulties, heat dissipation issues, and innovation in the stacked structure and materials used to connect LEDs.

Rayleigh Light has made important breakthroughs in these fields. In addition to providing higher pixel density, Rayleigh Light's stacked Micro LED products can provide higher pixel density. By incorporating the company's innovative patents, Rayleigh Light's stacked Micro LED also has excellent performance in brightness, contrast and color, and achieves higher energy efficiency.

In addition, Rayleigh Light's patent also solves key challenges in the mass production process, including effectively repairing pixel abnormalities and reducing costs. These issues are key to hindering the commercial application of Micro LED technology.

With a series of key technologies and multiple patents, Rayleigh Light has successfully demonstrated the feasibility of mass production of stacked Micro LEDs on large-size wafers. Rayleigh Light stated that this breakthrough result has aroused the interest of global electronics giants and leading industrial companies, which are actively exploring M Potential applications of micro LED microdisplays in AR/VR/MR glasses and other advanced wearable devices.
