Stan Technology received a 36 million yuan investment from a testing equipment manufacturer, focusing on the Micro LED field

On April 8, Sitech released an outward investment announcement, stating that the company plans to invest 36 million yuan in Shenzhen Sitan Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sitan Technology"), subscribing for 526,600 yuan of newly added registered capital of Sitan Technology, holding a 1.94% equity stake in the company after this capital increase.

Founded in 2018, Sitan Technology is a national-level specialized, sophisticated, unique and innovative "little giant" enterprise specializing in the research and development, production and sales of Micro LED semiconductor display technologies. It owns a provincial engineering technology research center. Its main products cover Micro LED light-emitting chips, driver chips and display modules, delivering one-stop Micro LED technical solutions for AR/XR, wearable devices, vehicle-mounted display and other sectors. At present, complete technical barriers have been established around Micro LED chip technology, driver chip design, module packaging and full colorization.

According to the announcement of Sitech, machine vision inspection equipment is indispensable in the manufacturing of various general semiconductors. As a leading manufacturer in the machine vision inspection equipment industry, Sitech consolidates its existing advantages in the SMT application field and keeps close attention to and tracks the development of all general semiconductor manufacturing sectors. The company is optimistic about the development potential of Micro LED display technology and will jointly deploy with invested companies in this field. At the same time, since the pixel pitch of Micro LED reaches the micron level, higher requirements have been put forward for testing equipment. The company plans to carry out joint research and development with invested enterprises in the future to satisfy the testing demands of the Micro LED industry, and realize complementary strengths and coordinated development of the industrial upstream and downstream chains.

Sitech indicated that this investment aims to expand the application scope of its products, diversify the application scenarios of machine vision inspection equipment, and further consolidate the company's business foundation for future development.
