Vogel Optoelectronics: Glass-based MiniLED backlight products are expected to enter the early mass production stage in the fourth quarter of this year

According to news on October 16, Woge Optoelectronics revealed on the investor interactive platform that the company's glass-based MiniLED backlight products have a new annual production capacity of 1 million square meters and are expected to officially enter the early mass production stage in the fourth quarter of this year. Its terminals are mainly used in monitors, laptops/pads, TVs, vehicles, etc.

Wogel Optoelectronics said that MiniLED backlight, as a new generation of display technology for LCD displays, has greatly improved the display effect, color gamut saturation and contrast of traditional LCD displays, achieving display effects that are close to OLED displays. It can also extend product life, reduce costs, increase localization rates, and drive the development of the domestic LCD and LED industries.

Glass base is used as a Mini backlight circuit substrate material. Compared with other substrate materials, it has both cost and performance advantages. It provides a better solution for the development of Mini LED backlight display, which can greatly increase the penetration rate of Mini backlight in the display field and drive the development of the entire industry.

In the field of Mini/Micro direct display, glass substrate is used as an LED lamp bead packaging substrate. With cost advantages, it can greatly reduce the pitch value and can be widely used in small, medium and large-sized display fields, including wearable, AR, VR and other products.
