What is LED

LED is a light-emitting diode, commonly known as a semiconductor. When electricity is supplied, electronic transition occurs and photons are emitted, directly emitting red, yellow, blue, green, cyan, orange, purple and white light. LED lighting products are lighting fixtures manufactured using LEDs as light sources. They have the characteristics of energy saving, environmental protection, long life, and small size. They can be widely used in various indications, displays, decorations, backlights, general lighting, and urban night scenes.

Currently, there are tens of thousands of lighting companies in my country, including more than 5,000 LED companies, producing more than 60% of the world's LED product output. The country has formed a situation of great division of labor and great collaboration. Upstream chips, packaging materials, etc. are mainly produced in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other places, while downstream lamps and other products are mainly produced in Guangdong, Fujian and other places. There is a clear trend that the application of back-end products promotes the development of front-end technologies.
