Tianma Micro’s 8 billion yuan Wuhu new display module project: the second phase of the main factory is fully launched

Shanghai Baoye Industrial Engineering reported on May 12 that the second phase of the main factory building of Tianma (Wuhu) Microelectronics Co., Ltd.'s new display module production line project (TM20), which was constructed by the industrial engineering company, was fully launched. The project is located in Jiujiang Economic Development Zone, Wuhu City, Anhui Province, covering an area of ​​627 acres and a construction area of ​​590,000 square meters. After full production, the planned monthly production capacity is 5.2 million display modules, with an annual output value of approximately 12 billion yuan.

On April 24, the Wuhu Tianma TM20 project syndicated loan signing ceremony was held in Wuhu City. The syndicated loan for this project was 3.2 billion yuan.

Tianma Microelectronics announced on May 27, 2022 that it plans to jointly invest with its partners Wuhu Industrial Investment Fund and Jiuchuang Investment Fund to establish a joint venture project company. The joint venture project company will build a new display module production line project in Wuhu City, Anhui Province. The project started on November 11 of the same year. It is mainly aimed at the three major application markets of vehicle display, IT display and industrial product display. It develops in coordination with the Tianma panel production line to form a large-scale production advantage.

It is reported that Tianma Micro’s new display module production line project has a total investment of 8 billion yuan and the project covers an area of ​​approximately 650 acres. According to the plan, construction will start in November 2022, mass production will begin in 2024, and full production will be completed in 2027, forming a monthly production capacity of 5.2 million new display modules, with an annual output value of no less than 12 billion yuan.
